Hi, this is Jenny again, hosting the show today. Today we are talking about Singapore. We have two regular guests as usual, Jerry and Gwan, here to talk about today??s topic. Gwen grew up in Singapore and moved to the U. S. A. when she was 22 years old. She has a lot to talk about Singapore. Singapore was once a British colony, adopting English as the official language. And more amazing, with so many races, it displays a multicultural facet. ……….

If you plan a two or three-day-tour to Singapore, Gwen will give you some suggestions about where to go and what to buy. Let??s find out some resorts she suggests for tourists. On the first day, Gwen will take you to visit some multicultural communities. ………..On the third day, Gwen will take you to the water market??.This is Jenny again. Welcome to our talk show again. Singapore sounds a fascinating country with different races and food. I??ll pay a visit to Singapore this summer and Gwen will be my tour guide. Hey, you should obey the laws in Singapore or you will get a punishment of caning. It is a severe punishment in which you are beaten severely by a cane. An Interview with Exchange Students

That was why they wore broad smiles on the face. Lynsey and Anderas were foreign exchange students in Da-tong Senior High School from the year 2004 to 2005, spending two semesters entirely studying with their classmates in a Physical Education Class. They were industrious and friendly and have associated a lot of good friends on campus.)

Using a Cell Phone

(Picture above: Though most of the schools in Taiwan do not allow students to talk on the cell phone, especially at class. There are also posters to show no cell phone noise pollution on campus. However, students often ignore the regulation. At class, you may find the cell phone ringing occasionally.)

Are you for or against the widwspread of the cell phones?

Some may prefer the old good days without the interrupting rings of the cell phone.

Others may marvel at its convenience and then predict that it will sweep over and lead the world.
